DEAN AND ASSOCIATES was established in 1995 by veteran international resort development consultant Paul Dean. Responding to the nascent demand for standalone shared ownership and alternative accommodation offerings, glamping projects and mixed-use resorts, Dean identified a gap in the market for world-class consultancy services to new and experienced developers. Since then, Dean & Associates has demonstrated sector leadership, winning contracts for resort projects in more than twenty markets with global hospitality brands, financial institutions, boutique, and independent developers.

Recognizing the need for a greater focus on the operational requirements of many of his clients, Jim Sabot was invited to join the practice in late 2013. As a former executive of the Asia Pacific region’s largest mixed use VO projects, Jim brings a wealth of experience in the sales, marketing, owner services and support infrastructure for these activities. Dean and Associates can now boast a unique “cradle to grave” capability from inception through the selling cycle and beyond.
